The 2nd International Conference on Post-Translational Modifications in Bacteria
The 2nd International Conference on Post-Translational Modifications in Bacteria
The second edition of the international meeting dedicated to post-translational modifications (PTMs) in bacteria will be held from 19 to 20 October 2016, in the city of Lyon, France.
It will cover protein phosphorylation, uridylation, acetylation, glycosylation, pupylation, targeted degradation and other modifications, as well as the methods used to study them.
Alan Wolfe (Loyola University Chicago, USA), Eilika Weber-Ban (ETH Zurich, Switzerland), Boris MACEK (University of Tuebingen, Germany) and Ivan MIJAKOVIC (Chalmers University, Sweden) will deliver keynote lectures
The meeting will be accompanied by two social events: a gala diner in one of the restaurants of Lyon, the capital of french gastronomy, and a visit to the brand new city museum « Musée des Confluences ».
A special issue of Journal of Molecular Biology focusing on bacterial PTMs will be open
for paper contributions from the conference participants.
The best presentation from a young scientist (PhD/PostDoc) will be awarded!
